Mattress Collection
If we offer to collect items from your home or business address, the items agreed must match the descriptions given in the presentation section of these terms. If not, a collection will be canceled. We use a number of couriers to collect on our behalf, this is to allow us to keep our carbon footprint as minimal as possible.
All items that are for removal need to be listed in a waste transfer note. This is to avoid any items being taken by mistake, and helps with accountability and tractability. If any of the items you would like to be removed are not listed, we ask you to email [email protected] so we can arrange for a quote.
Payments
For individuals we will ask for the payment at the time you make the online request. If you represent a business or an academic entity we will issue you with an invoice prior to collection taking place. Please note we do not charge handling fees for Debit or Credit cards.
Quotes
If any of the items you would like collecting are not listed, please use our contact form with a detailed list of the items you would like removing along with the location they can be seen should we need to do a site visit before advising on the charge.
Collection
Due to environmental legislation, collection vehicles may differ depending on the amount that you have to remove, therefore when making your booking you may be allocated two different collection dates.
Presentation
Stowage of items for collection such at Mattresses should not be put out too far ahead of collection day; due to certain weather conditions these items can become very wet and heavy. Therefore we ask for you to please ensure that these are suitably covered should weather conditions be poor, a simple plastic sheet covering them would help.
If an item becomes wet and too heavy to move, this item will not be collected, and no refund will be given
Please ensure the area specified for collection is clean and clear of any Dog Foul, failure to do so will result in the collection being cancelled and no refund will be given.
Items covered on a bulky waste collection
Cancellations & Changes
Cancellation/Changes to items and dates can be made by Telephone only by contacting our service team Tel: 07950 807454.
Please note Cancellations/Changes can only be made up to 4pm on the working day before the collection. Cancellation/Changes cannot be made after this time.
If items are not ready in the specified location on the collection date/times given, a refund will not be issued. A new booking would have to be made and payed for as we will not return a second time to collect the items on the original booking.
Drop Off
You can drop off your mattresses at any of our designated locations in Peterlee & Batley upon completion of a Waste Transfer Note and payment has been completed.
Any mattresses that are dropped off MUST BE dry and match the description previously stated in Presentation.
